Hans Jurgen Menzinger

Hans Jurgen Menzinger was born in Brunn, Czechoslovakia. Considered to be highly talented in the fields of drawing and painting at high school, he went on to study painting at the Academy in Dortmund under Professor Hilpert.

Hans was always fascinated by the old masters and so made many trips to the National galleries in Holland. As a result of his passion for Dutch art, he continued his studies at the Academy of Gent and still further at the Academy in Roulers.

On completing his studies, Hans worked as a freelance artist and graphic designer with great success. His continued visits to museums in France, Belgium, Sweden and The Netherlands cemented Impressionism as his favoured style, and his Impressionist landscapes have earned him global renown. Most in demand are his landscapes of Southern France and his paintings of North Sea coastal scenes which are to be found in private collections throughout Europe.
