Anthony was born in Manchester in 1945. He studied life, still life and calligraphy at the “ Manchester College of Art & Design”. He worked his way through a six-year apprenticeship as a copper plate & steel die etcher.

Anthony frequently travels to Paris, Provence, Venice and many other destinations such as Cuba, Mexico, the USA and Prague in pursuit of excellence in his paintings. When not travelling abroad Anthony works from his Manchester studio, working from live models to produce his wonderful paintings, which have become very collectable over the years.

Anthony's studies of nudes, semi nudes and ballerinas are a sound investment for the serious art buyer. Anthony’s work has been collected by T.V. celebrities and is in many private and corporate collections in this country as well as the U.S.A, Japan, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and the Channel Islands.
